Riakt Studios launches new image and specialties

Indianapolis, IN - October 25, 2007 - Indianapolis-based Riakt Studios has revamped its home on the web at riaktstudios.com. The move to a new design recognizes a concentration shift for Riakt, which has strategically repositioned itself as an interactive and alternative marketing agency.

Recent endeavors include a splash into Bluetooth mobile marketing as part of Riakt's FlingU campaign (flingu.com). The basis for a national marketing community, FlingU seeks to connect consumers and marketers across the Bluetooth spectrum, sidestepping cell phone network providers in a move that has already swept European and Asian urban markets by force.

Among Riakt's staple diet of projects are still cutting-edge web designs, but with more interactive flare. A site developed fully in flash was just launched for actress LisaRaye McCoy-Misick, which showcases her recent accomplishments. Many of Riakt's recent sites are also CSS heavy, the new front at riaktstudios.com among one of them.

A newly established strategic partnership with MZD Ad Agency has fueled growth in alternative and experimental projects, as well.

The relationship began only weeks ago, when the two companies approached each other and have walked a path of mutual gain since. MZD has benefited through services from Riakt to supplement its interactive design portfolio, while Riakt benefits heavily from steady work from a well established agency with over 50 years experience in traditional advertising methods.

"A lot of things have worked out better than we could have hoped for in the past year," said Josh Mitchell, Riakt President and CEO. "There are some really good fits between our two companies - things we do well, things that MZD does well. There are a lot of projects on the horizon that I am really excited about."

The relationship has lead to the opening of a new Riakt Division: Urban Marketing. Troy Julian Gipson of MZD consults with Riakt to manage current clients and seek out new leads in Urban Marketing and talent management. The newly launched site at LisaRaye.com is among the first of these collaborations.

Gipson, a former IBM executive, has worked in a variety of roles representing celebrities. He has represented clients including Viacom, Blackplanet.com, Nintendo Games, Chrysler and the NCAA. Gipson has worked in projects involving American Idol's Randy Jackson and the Rev. Jesse Jackson. He now consults with Riakt Studios, heading their newly established Urban Marketing Division.

"We've formed some new relationships that have opened lots of doors for us," said Brian Conradt, Riakt Chief Creative Officer, "When we moved our headquarters to Indianapolis late last year, we really made the right choice. Our new location has served as a massive springboard to our entire operation, and things are only looking to get bigger."

For the moment, Riakt continues to operate out of Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, with plans to expand into other markets with new services in marketing analytics and proximity mobile marketing.
